Our Structure

The Council

PTF is controlled by a Council made up of elected members and the Chairman of each membership Section.

PTF Sections

PTF members belong to one or more of the following Sections:

  • Dairy Products
  • Bacon & Pigmeat
  • Speciality Cheese
  • Yogurt and Short Life Dairy Products
  • Canned Foods

Each Section elects a Committee which meets regularly to review the market and, where appropriate, decide policy on issues relevant to that Section.

PTF also has an expert cross-sectoral Technical and Legislation Group which meets regularly to discuss proposals for food legislation and other related technical issues and to provide advice to PTF secretariat.
